Rupi Johal, MDDr. Johal is a primary care sports medicine physician who specializes in the treatment and prevention of nonoperative sports related injuries. She focuses on the comprehensive health of athletes of all ages. She is originally from California and completed her residency training in primary care at Kaiser Permanente Southern California, during which she served as chief resident. She then decided to pursue her passion of sports medicine and completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Kaiser Permanente. She has been a team physician for a wide spectrum of professional and college teams, and has volunteered time at Ironman Kona and various triathlons. She provides compassion and patience when treating her patient athletes, to get each one back to activity as soon and as safely as possible.
