In addition to medical histories and extensive physical examinations, on-site X-rays are used for diagnosis, with CT scans and MRI imaging studies prescribed to confirm and further illuminate conditions, when appropriate.
At Winthrop Orthopaedic Associates, patients receive personalized, comprehensive treatment plans for everything from simple fractures, arthritis and tendonitis to complex conditions that require limb reconstruction or total joint replacements and revisions.
Since each patient is unique and every condition is distinctive, some individuals can be treated with medication, exercise, physical and/or occupational therapy, bracing or splinting.
